Beautiful Tragedy
She's a 10 but she has some structural issues. First of all, the material of these pants is a wonderful thick denim, and the cut is very flattering if you can get them on. I have a 25" waist and a 36" hip, am 5'3" and ordered a size 25/27. They were both difficult to get on and difficult to fasten because the waist was almost comically small. I measured across the waist and they're more like a size 23. Part of the issue, I realized, is that there's an extra few stitches about an inch ABOVE where the zipper ends, so you have even less wiggle room to get your butt in these pants witch have 0 stretch to begin with. I'm pretty straight hipped, and I can't imagine how anyone even slightly more curvaceous than me could get these on without busting some of those weird fly-stitches (like I did, whoops). I don't know if that was a sewing mistake or part of the design. What certainly IS a sewing issue is that the bottom of the front left pocket was folded up and stitched to where the back pocket attaches to the pants like a little hammock, rendering it unusable. If I'm paying $100 bucks for some pantalones I want to at least have full use of all the pockets, you know? These pants really are so so cute but the craftsmanship is a gamble. Buy at your own risk.
Beautiful Tragedy
She's a 10 but she's poorly sewn and sized. The material of these pants is a wonderful, high quality denim, and the color is as shown. I want to like them so badly but I could barely get them on. I have a 25 in waist and 36 in hips, I'm 5'3" and ordered a 25/27. After measuring them, they're realistically a 23. There are several "extra" stitches ABOVE where the zipper ends, so the pants which have 0 stretch already give you even less of an opening to get your butt through. I'm very straight waisted and cannot imagine how anyone even slightly more curvaceous than me could get these on without busting some stitches (like I did, whoops). Idk if that was a sewing mistake exclusive to my pair or a design feature. What certainly IS a mistake is that the inside of the left front pocket has been folded up and sewed to the where the back pocket is attached to the pants. If I'm paying $100 for some pantalones I'm hoping to get full use of all the pockets at least, you know? Buy at your own risk. They really are so cute but it's a gamble on the craftsmanship.
Very flattering
These are really great jeans! I sized up as recommended in the reviews - I hover between a 28”- 29” waist so ordered the 30”. They’re snug but comfortable and hug my tummy in (in a good way, not suffocating), and make my bum and waist look great. Lovely fit. Hope they’ll be offered in a wider colour range soon as I will definitely be checking back for more!
Malfunctioning button
It came with the button completely popped off and you guys won’t let me return it.
Amazing!
I'm 5'3" 135 lbs with 28" Waist and 38" hips. I originally ordered size 29/27, but they were way too tight (waist actually measured barely 26"). I exchanged for 30/27 and they are perfect (actual waist measurement was 28")! So I'd suggest ordering a size up. Very flattering fit. Will be wearing these all the time.
Great quality jean but size up
I'm a consistent 25 (strech jean) or 26 (100% cotton jean), but i sized up to 27 according to other reviews and i'm glad i did. I think i would've not got into 26 literally. The material is really nice, so as the fit. I have barely an extra room in waist and hips, no issues in crotch area. A real high waist
Looove!
Super high waisted, thick denim, I’m 5’3” and 135 and bought the 29/31 for a leg lengthening long perfect 70’s silhouette. Wear with a crop and oversized anything outer layer. Size up for sure - I had no issues that the other reviewers had.
Addicted
Here’s the thing, I bought these pants and then I sold them because I thought maybe they didn’t fit me great and then I bought them again because I missed them so much. They cut up my butt and they give me camel toe. But I heard camel toes the new cleavage, so who knows anymore?! Good luck
Cute, but needs some fixes
I bought my second pair of these in black, but i had to get the 27in inseam bc the 32s are all sold out. I definitely need the 32in though, and i’ve been waiting foreverrrr for them to restock (please restock the longer length!!) Anyways, i love these jeans but there are a couple issues that come to mind: 1) the sizing is hard to predict, and most people (including me) have to size up 1-2 sizes. 2) the rise is not high enough. A lot of ppl have complained about getting camel toe, and this can only slightly be fixed by going up a size, but for the most part the rise just needs to be higher to prevent the crotch from being squeezed to death as the pants get held up by the waist. So, make the rise higher please!! Despite these things, i do think the pants are flattering, i love the wide leg. They’re super cute. But please restock, and please up the rise a bit.
